Milk Powder Laddu Dipped in Chocolate-Three ingredient milk powder laddus are dipped in milk chocolate and white chocolate to resemble and taste like chocolate truffles! When traditional Indian laddu gets dipped in chocolate, we get this amazing fusion dessert.
This Milk Powder Laddu Dipped in Chocolate recipe can be tweaked and can be served as is, without dipping in chocolate. Tastes delicious even without the chocolate frosting for those who like the traditional taste of laddus. Since chocolate chips are readily available, I have used semi sweet chocolate chips for the milk chocolate layer. I also wanted to share how easy it is to use a baking bar, which is what I have used for the white chocolate.
I personally found it easier to work with the baking bar- it was easier to dip and coat the laddus. You can use either chocolate chips or a baking bar, both work. I found the baking bar right next to the chocolate chips in Walmart for $1.50. So both are reasonably priced. Chocolate chips don’t need to be chopped but even a drop of water in the bowl or spoon can ‘seize’ the chocolate, making it not spreadable.
I had earlier made kalakand topped with melted chocolate chips and that has been a favorite on my blog-been tried and reviewed by many.
