Jalapeno Poppers with Cream Cheese-No fry recipe

Jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and deep fried….yum whats not to love about these appetizers. But do you always feel guilty after eating a few! No reason to feel guilty with these baked poppers. I decided to give a twist to the traditional recipe(literally) and use puff pastry sheets instead of frying.

The baked version is so eye catching.  It has just the right amount of spice, and the cream cheese filling and the puff pastry rolled like a mummy, makes it look like something out of a European bakery.

Even children can eat them , because once you deseed the Jalapenos, the heat from them goes away. My daughter loved it so much, she saved a couple for her school lunch for the next day!

A baked, easier and low fat version of the traditional fried jalapeno poppers. Frozen puff pastry makes it a very easy recipe to make.
