Made wit ready canned pie filling, cake mix, melted butter and nuts of choice this dessert is very versatile and can be made with any pie filling and and cake mix.

As many  of my friends don’t eat eggs, I make this Instant Apple Crisp-5 minute and 4 ingredients recipe very often. Also called panic Cake, I learnt this recipe from a recipe book that was published by one of the local churches in town. I have played around with different combinations of pie filling and cake mix, but this combination of Apple Pie with Yellow cake mix is the ultimate winner for it classic old fashioned flavors.

I love this recipe for its taste and ease of baking. I usually like to assemble it ahead of time and after dinner, while the table is cleared and dishes put away, I put this in the oven and serve it hot with vanilla ice cream. The hot pie with the cold ice cream is a match made in h

eaven. Bonus the house smells so good, of fall and cinnamon and baked goodies!!
