Five Mexican Salsas

Looking for easy Mexican starters for Cinco De Mayo then make this array of fresh homemade salsas served with chips or a platter of cut vegetables.

Restaurant Style Salsa in minutes– My most popular salsa recipe because as the name suggests, it is ready in under 5 minutes. Put the ingredients in a blender and pulse. That’s it!

Strawberry Kiwi Salsa– A bright, colorful salsa that uses fresh strawberries and kiwi for a burst of flavor.

Mango Peach Salsa– A savory way of using up fresh mangoes and peaches that fill up the produce aisles just around Cinco de Mayo. Habanero peppers provide the hint of spice needed to balance the sweetness of the fruits.

Guacamole with make ahead instructions– Yup, you read that right! Guacamole can be made ahead of time and it will still retain its bright green color! Read on to make the best guacamole ever.

Habanero Pepper Chatni– Spicy, sweet, tangy, zingy are all adjectives that describe this Chatni. The yellow sweet peppers, vinegar and sugar along with the secret ingredient-cashews makes for a smooth, delicious dip.

Some of my other popular Mexican inspired dishes are Mexican Spirals/Black bean Pinwheels, Chipotle style Black beans and Chipotle  style Cilantro Lime Rice.
