4medium potatoesboiled and cut into very small pieces(I used red potatoes)
1/2tspcumin/jeera
few curry leaves
1/2tspgingerminced
1/2tspgreen chiliesminced
1/2tspRed chili powder/lal mirch
Senda Namak/salt as per taste
juice of 1/2 to 1 lemon/limedepending upon size
2tbspoil
2-3tbspcilantro/coriander/dhania pattachopped
Instructions
In a pan heat oil and add cumin/jeera
Add ginger and green chilies and cook till the raw smell of ginger goes away
Add curry leaves and Red Chili powder/lalmirch
Add potatoes,salt,lemon juice and a few drops of water(only if needed) and mix well
Add cilantro and mix well and serve
Notes
I have only used spices allowed during vrat. You can easily customize it to your taste by adding or omitting some ingredients that your family does/doesn't consume during fasting.
