DIY Easy Diwali Decoration Ideas
Quick easy ideas to decorate the house for Diwali
Materials
- 3 wine glasses
- 3 Battery operated fairy lights
- 1 round tray
- 1 Marigold flowers and garland
- 3 tea lights
- 3 wooden premade rangoli pieces
Instructions
- Unroll a string of fairy lights and place around the inside edges of the wine glass
- Put a few marigold flowers in the glass, keeping the fairy light switch near the top of the glass yet covered by the marigold flowers
- Repeat the process for the other glasses
- Place the tray on the dining table/coffee table
- Turn on the lights in the glass and turn the glass upside down onto the tray
- Place a marigold garland around the tray and put the rangoli pieces around the glasses to fill up the space
- Place tea lights on top of the inverted wine glasses

Notes
A quick decorating tip-always use odd numbers. So either use 3 or five or 7 glasses. Odd numbered items just look more pleasing to the eye.
